Youth Board:

Comprised of representatives from T.R. Proctor High School, John F. Kennedy Middle School and Donovan Middle School, the Youth Board meets weekly to design and implement Underground Cafe events, workshops, and programs.

Outerground, in partnership with Hamilton College:

This program creates venues for team building, character development, leadership and self discovery through outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and cycling.

Accepted College Prep Program:

Grounded in the belief that all youth should have the opportunity to pursue higher education, this program guides 15 T.R. Proctor High School juniors and seniors with significant financial need through the college application process each year.

Couper Art Center:

This program works to strengthen students ability to creatively express themselves through visual arts, music, literature and movement and dance.

GlobalYouthUnite:

This new program kicks off in May 2007 to raise awareness among teens about pressing local and global issues through workshops, international service initiatives, and local youth-organized events.

Youth Impact Program, in partnership with Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL):

This program will begin in June 2007 to help youth understand disability in society and become self-advocates through trainings on topics such as independent living and disability in the United States school system. Youth will be provided with venues to put their awareness into action by developing their own initiatives and events.
