Hello all. After a few weeks out of Brooklyn, jaunting around the North East, Grzl has returned back to Brooklyn with a fury of live appearances in the coming weeks. The first of which will be a show this Saturday with the acclaimed Johnny Voltik. Johnny brings the house down with his blend of experiemental rock and hip-hop, so get ready for a night of progressive music. Thank you so much to everyone that came out last night to support Contramano at Joe’s Pub. The show sold out! I am sorry to those who came and were turned away at the door. Hopefully that means Contramano will be playing bigger and cooler rooms in the future.

I will be slowly updating the Photos page as pictures get developed and probably adding a video page in the near future. Keep track of the site in the coming weeks despite the lack of shows. Just because there are no live Grzl appearances doesn’t mean the work stops. Once again, thanks so much for supporting Contramano and hope to see you all at a show sometime soon.

It came as a big surprise to Grzl that Contramano was chosen as the winner of the Myspace Latino sponsorship for New York City. The Canal Room was packed with talent on the night of June 5th and Contramano is certainly honored to have been chosen. More details will come as to what the sponsorship includes. Thanks to everyone that voted for Contramano.
